Maura Kelly is a mission-driven strategist and Emmy award-winning producer with extensive media and marketing experience. Through her consultancy practice, Purple Mountain Media, Maura helps organizations and creators develop and launch projects that leverage creativity, digital media and partnerships. Maura’s non-profit work with Helping Other People (HOPe) includes executing numerous fundraising events and field trips to Ethiopia and Peru.
Her career spans leadership positions in broadcast television at PBS/ WNET where she built successful media franchises and helped raise over $17 million for programs and EdTech initiatives — to working with top-media companies, such as The Jim Henson Co, PBS Kids, and the Tribeca Film Festival.
Passionate about women’s leadership, Maura is the Director of LEAP (Leadership & Executive Acceleration Program) for young women and Advisor to EdSnaps, a STEM based NPO for girls in the Bronx. For three years she served on the Board of NY Women in Film & TV advocating for gender equality in entertainment.
