Maura Kelly is an Emmy award-winning producer and strategic media and marketing executive. Through her consultancy practice, Purple Mountain Media, she helps organizations and creators develop and launch projects that leverage creativity, digital media and partnerships. Maura’s non-profit work with Helping Other People (HOPe) includes executing numerouse fundraising events and field trips to Ethiopia and Peru.
Her career spans leadership positions in broadcast television at PBS/ WNET where she built successful media franchises and helped raise over $17 million for programs and EdTech initiatives — to working with top-media companies, such as The Jim Henson Co, PBS Kids, and the Tribeca Film Institute.
Maura is on the Board of IIBN-NY and is an Advisory Board member of EdSnaps, a STEM based initiative for girls in the Bronx. In 2017, she was a senior advisor to LEAP (Leadership & Executive Acceleration Program) for women, and for three years served on the Board of NY Women in Film & TV, a leading association that promotes gender equality in the entertainment sector.
