Maura Kelly is a mission-driven strategist and Emmy award-winning producer with extensive media and marketing experience. Through her consultancy practice, Purple Mountain Media, she helps organizations & creators amplify their mission and drive growth through program and relationship management, cross-sector partnership development and content marketing engagement. Maura’s nonprofit work with Helping Other People (HOPe) includes executing numerous fundraising events and field trips to Ethiopia and Peru.

Her career spans leadership positions in broadcast television at PBS/ WNET where she built successful media franchises and helped raise over $17 million for programs and EdTech initiatives — to working with top-media companies, such as The Jim Henson Co, PBS Kids, and the Tribeca Film Festival.

Passionate about women’s leadership and workforce development, Maura is the lead Director of LEAP (Leadership & Executive Acceleration Program) and Advisor to EdSnaps, a STEM focused nonprofit for girls in the Bronx. For three years she served on the Board of NY Women in Film & TV (NYWIFT) advocating for gender equality in entertainment. Working with NYWIFT for over ten years, Maura created numerous professional development/ workforce training events for members and the public.
